Active Body Control (ABC) ABC, an active suspension system, utilizes a coil spring and an electronically controlled hydraulic cylinder in series, plus a separate gas-pressurized shock absorber at each wheel. Using a total system pressure of up to 2,900 psi, ABC continually adjusts each wheel's suspension to counteract vibration, pitch, dive, squat, and roll. ABC also provides automatic all-wheel level control, driver-selectable ride height, and automatic lowering at higher speed.
Steering Rack-and-pinion with vehicle-speed-sensitive power assist.
Wheels 18" 9-spoke light-alloy wheels, 8.5 x 18 front and 9.5 x 18 rear.
Tires 255/45 R18 front and 275/45 R18 rear, high performance.
Brakes Dual-circuit power-assist 4-wheel disc brakes. 13.2" ventilated front discs and 11.8" ventilated rear discs.
Antilock Braking System (ABS) ABS senses impending wheel lockup under heavy braking and pumps the front brakes individually or the rear brakes together (to help maintain stability) as needed up to thirty times per second, to prevent lockup and maintain steering ability.
Brake assist BAS senses emergency braking via the speed at which the driver presses the brake pedal and immediately applies maximum available power boost, potentially reducing the overall stopping distance by eliminating the delay caused by a common human tendency not to brake hard enough, soon enough. Reducing pressure on the brake pedal releases Brake Assist.

1. Lower aspect ratio tires and accompanying wheels provide substantially increased treadwear, increased tire noise and reduced ride comfort. Serious wheel and tire damage may occur if the vehicle is operated on rough or damaged road surfaces or upon encountering road debris or obstacles. These tires are not designed for use on snow and ice. Winter tires mounted on appropriately sized and approved wheels are recommended for driving in those conditions.
2. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake system maintenance, and tire and road conditions.
